BIOGRAPHY
As an artist I aspire to create intriguing pieces which both visually and mentally stimulate a person's mind. I always hope that my work encourages others to question what we do as humans and our beliefs, it inspires me creating art based on how that holds purpose. My concepts take inspiration from the philosophy's introduced in transhumanism and post humanism in a digital world, the elements which fascinate me mostly involve ideas of augmenting the human capabilities to further the human condition whether through mind, body or soul. Modern- day technology has become humanities tool for everyday life, our reliability on technology has become so strong that as a society we couldn't run
efficiently without its input. My main aspirations is to continue building this distinctive style which represents my interests. I like to be an artist of many trades, I primarily specialize in digital art, involving 3D modelling and digital design. Although my main source of material is generally digital, I am not afraid to delve in fashion or photography, utilizing multimedia enhances my work and leads me to also re-visualize my forms of artistic expression.
My work is heavily influenced from video game, manga and television media as I believe these are great sources which convey themes and ideas is intriguing ways which other medias cannot do. Most notable influences include, Tetsuo 2: Body Hammer, a techno body horror created by Shinya Tsukamoto as well as Gantz, sci fi manga where the dead are revived to fight off invading aliens created by Hiroya Oku. Being primarily a 3D modeler in a fine art world, I have forced myself to push the boundaries in what I design resulting in creations everyone can portray differently.
